RZ 203 B - Keynote par MICHEL SALEM-SERMANET, GENERAL MANAGER of EFFICACITY

Michel Salem-Sermanet graduated in 1989 from École Polytechnique and in 1992 from ENPC. He has held various operational positions within the Ministry of Public Works in Ile de France (transport, housing, urban planning, environment), in ministerial cabinets and in local authorities. He has also worked in urban project financing agencies in developing countries (World Bank, French Development Agency). In 2006, he moved to London for three years to work on the urban project around the 2012 Olympic Games site for the Greater London Authority. He then took the position of Operational CEO of CG78, then became CEO in 2011 at the Marne-la-Vallée EPAMARNE developer, where he initiated an ambitious urban innovation policy. In May 2014, he took over the management of the new Efficacity Institute.

RZ 203 B – Keynote by Mr. BENOIT LEBOT, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IPEEC

Head of secretariat of the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation – IPEEC since March 2014. Its mission is to support G20 countries in technical and political collaborations that contribute to the promotion of energy efficiency in all sectors of the economy. Previously Technical Advisor on Climate Change and Energy Transition in African Countries at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) from 2004 to 2014. Engineer at ADEME, responsible for electrical demand management actions from 1990 to 1997, then at the International Energy Agency, Energy Efficiency Division from 1997 to 2003.
