Camille Massié is a doctoral student in economics at the FGES (Faculty of Management, Economics and Sciences) of the Université Catholique de Lille since January 2020.

Under the supervision of Professor Fateh Belaïd, and in a context of environmental protection through energy management, her work focuses on the diffusion of energy efficiency issues in the residential sector. She develops her constant research around behavioral and economic questions: What are the most effective energy efficiency solutions? Which homes have the best potential? What incentives can public authorities put in place? By analyzing behavioral phenomena such as the rebound effect or the impact of the life cycle on household energy consumption, the study aims to better understand the challenges of the energy transition. The result is recommendations for public (environmental) policies. Its work also focuses on current issues such as the environmental impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Finally, in parallel to her research work, she is in charge of supervised courses in macroeconomics in several FGES Bachelor’s degrees.
