Fields of study

Biodiversity; ecology; soil fauna; springtails; urban agriculture.

Laëtitia Devigne holds a master’s degree in Environmental Expertise and Treatment from the “Institut Supérieur d’Agriculture” and has been a research executive at the Smart and Sustainable Cities research unit at the Université Catholique de Lille since 2013. She is involved in research projects related to the impact of organic and urban agriculture on biodiversity and more particularly on soil fauna. Her study model: springtails, very numerous arthropods that are sensitive to environmental fluctuations. She participates, in support of the researchers, in the writing of scientific articles on the above-mentioned theme as well as in statistical analyses (calculation of biodiversity indices; calculation of the Bray-Curtis distance; multi-varied analyses on R). She is also in charge of the research communication of the FGES: writing of a monthly newsletter; creation and management of the website dedicated to the research.

Laëtitia is also in charge of the development of ground and rooftop vegetable gardens (planning, biodiversity, botany, and research on soil fauna) within the University.
